We got married at Frostville Museum, and while the chapel itself is absolutely beautiful and made for a perfect ceremony setting, the volunteer coordinator (Cindy) was extremely difficult to work with. Two days before our wedding, she suddenly told us we couldn’t have the arch we had planned for months even though it was discussed and included in our contract. She claimed I never brought up the arch, but my mother and sister were both there at the time and were witnesses to me bringing it up. I stayed kind and professional in every email. When she asked if I had a wedding planner, I said yes, and she told me she’d “sit in the back and mind her business.” But right before our rehearsal, she told my planner that I had told her to “back off,” which was completely untrue. She then got upset during the rehearsal, sat in her car, and stared at us through the window for the rest of the rehearsal instead of helping. Afterward, she told us to put our flowers and décor inside, but locked the doors so we couldn’t. The chapel itself is stunning and full of character it really is a beautiful place to get married. But our experience with Cindy overshadowed what should have been a joyful, stress-free process. If you’re considering Frostville for your wedding, just be prepared that while the space is gorgeous, the person running it can make things unnecessarily difficult. If you look through reviews you can see not many people have their weddings there. It seems like the volunteers can make up any rules they see fit and it doesn’t matter what was on a contract or discussed previously.

We just stopped by on a Sunday on our way to the airport to look at all the beautiful buildings and go for a little walk on the trails across the road. It is a wonderful place to waste some time. Nothing was open on Sunday, but we still thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

What an amazing experience. The volunteers were so friendly and knowledgeable. The sheer amount of historical items was mind boggling. Some incredible military history paraphernalia, like a Rosie the Riveter replica doll, was very cool.

Such a cool place to visit! We went during a Christmas festival and we had fun. We got to look in all the buildings and see the old fire trucks and other things, there was a bake sale with raffle baskets and the women where knowledgeable and friendly, same in the house you can tour. The general store was full of unique finds and the best and our fave- the American girl doll clothes that were homemade and a very good buy! We also got to go to the church and see a funny puppet show! Highly recommend checking their website and going...

I was here for an Ohio Local History Alliance conference. It was quite cool. Houses are buildings and even a church were moved to the property from historic places in North Olmsted. Lots going on along with a farmers market, trash to treasure sale lots of seasonal things to do. Lots of fun opportunities to volunteer as well....
