Lagoon Picnic Area — Attraction in Olmsted Township

One of our favorite places to visit. There is always a wildlife sighting, or two. Many animals call this place home.🦝🦌🐇🐿🕊🦉🐸🐢🦎🐦🐥🐟🐠🐛 We have been bringing both of our dogs here for years. The trees in the fall are diverse in color and beautiful. There is a large covered picnic area, with a stone fireplace. Plenty of long picnic tables for many people to enjoy at one time; including, several grills.

*We wish that some of the people that fish and picnic there, would clean up after themselves. Leaving assorted trash behind, can be harmful to the wildlife that call this place home!!! Be respectful of your surroundings...

Fantastic little picnic spot! The kids enjoyed walking along the waterfront. The handicap accessible picnic area was close by the parking making it perfect to take my elderly mother. I love the quiet walks and the wildlife that you can see if you pay attention. There is a family of beavers that live here if you're lucky enough to see them. It's a good fishing spot for young kids because there are docks to fish from and bluegills for them to catch. My grandsons enjoy the time spent together...
