North Topsail Shores — Attraction in North Topsail Beach

Another child drowned at the point. A few times a year a child and adults life is taken due to the rip currents and a 30' shelf under the water. The current pulls ppl under ut and they are new t found for days. I wish N Topsail Beach NC officials would close the point and hire lifeguards. The young boys had to be rescued this weekend and one is still missing. How many have to die before they do something. I think the county should be held responsible... They are aware of the problem but the visitors think its like any other beach and its not. I know I live at the beach and two to four times a week theres a drowning rescue and or shark attacks. They dont have to look st a provoked shark attack. A provoked shark attack is splashing, yellng, ruding a board ( youll look like a seal to the shark) or wearing...
