I have been taking my dog here since late February. My dog absolutely loves this park because it is 44 acres huge. He is able to run free in the field, play with other dogs, go for a dip in the pond, and go on a walk with me on the trail there. Every dog parent that I have encountered there is also friendly and responsible for their dog, making this place even more welcoming. You do need to pay the forest preserve a $60 membership and a key for the park, but it is well worth it to see my dog get so excited wherever we park in the lot.

Best $60 fee we probably paid this year. This is a large dog park with a good sized pond, BIG open mowed lawn and a back area with more natural grassland. Great space for our dog to run and have had great interactions with other dogs. Couple notes: they have a good shade area by the entrance with tables, but there isn't any water so make sure to bring your own. No restrooms available. The background noise is a bit loud as it's next to the highway.

A lovely park. Yearly admission per dog. It's absolutely massive, probably 3 football fields! Three separate sections separated by woodland paths, fun for exploring! Features a large grassy area and pond for pups to swim, picnic tables for humans -- also a large meadowlike area and a forested area. Our pup had a lot of fun and we will look forward to returning!!!

My first visit 6/19/19. This year has been very rainy and damp. This park has too, felt the damp weather.

On this day, my girlfriend and I came to the park with her rescue dog (who has had all of her shots....meaning the DOG lol) to check it out. There was a locked gate at the entrance with a keyhole. We had no key so I jumped the fence and released the latch. There was a woman far off in the distance who immediately started to stomp here way over to us with her doggy.

We looked around us and found the place to be more of a swamp, next to the highway, rather than a park.

By the time we had decided that it would be better to not have the dog slathered in mud the woman had stomped her way to us. She informed us that there is a fee to keep the riffraff out and the unvaccinated pets that belong to them. Granted, I DID hop the fence, but we are both 46 and pretty clean-cut. The Swamp Lady gets 1 star.

There is a sign out by the entrance with a website address which we checked out. The annual fee is $60 until after July 6th, I believe, when the fee is reduced to $30.

There are other dog parks in the area which we will be looking at and hopefully they are without any stomping, angry,...
