This is a special place because it’s my childhood park (before it was renovated last year)! I love bringing my girls here with my parents. We love it because it’s spread out with a lot of different ramps and climbing areas and good swings! It’s totally worth a visit before it gets icy out here! 🥶❄️ Sweater and leggings from @Old Navy Hair clip from @target #localparks #northbrook #northwestsuburbs #chicagosuburbs #midwesternmama #glenview @Northbrook Park District

Inclusive elements in the new playground areas include: - Ramps on both ends of the play structure that are traversable without leaving a mobility device - Aserenity spot designed for all children with a special focus on children with neurodiversity - A sensory rail that promotes motor skill development and socialization - A bridge that provides rocking options and doesn’t require a transfer from a mobility device - A rocker that brings equity to the play space and promotes inclusivity - Several swing options that allow children of differing abilities the joy of swinging - Panels that include alphabets in both braille and sign language along with a café counter with braille lettering - Accessible drinking fountain #momsoftiktok #inclusive #playground #funthingstodoinchicago #forkids

What a great park that is also handicap accessible and engaging. Lots of climbing and interactive games at all levels. It is very colorful too. Also spread out a good distance between structures for kids to move around and alternate but still allows you to watch over everyone no matter which side you are on. It is tucked away on a neighborhood. There's tons of open grass to run and a baseball field too. The part is somewhat well lit and the cemented walk bath but not the grassy field so it gets pretty dark. There is a good size parking lot but no bathroom anywhere near by so come prepared. A small awning area with a picnic table for shade but the rest of the area has no shelter. Overall we liked the park but it does get pretty windy due to the open space even though there is a brick wall behind the park separating the highway. It's a good park to check-out that was recently redone. Fun structures for all levels but more demographed for toddler to maybe 6-7 depending on how active and athletic they are. Independent and group play structures and also handicap structure throughout. Not sure if dog friendly or not.our overall perspective is that our dog is our family. You will see people walking their dog on the path but didn't see any at the park when we went. We always have our dog poop or pee as far away from kids play areas or playgrounds out of respect. Very little trees and shade at the park.

This is one of the best playgrounds in the area for little ones. My toddler loves this park. She calls it big park. We enjoy the variety of activities it offers. Definitely recommend visiting. One thing though google maps takes you on the opposite side of the street and you cant park the car in the parking lot if you follow google maps direction. I just pin the parking lot and take directions to the parking lot. The pictures from almost sunset time so its a...

Fantastic new park! Soft turf ground. Plenty of free parking. Port-o-potty on-site. Smaller park great for 1-4 year olds -- larger/taller park for 5+. Outrageous amount of green space. Shaded picnic tables. Playgrounds have play suggestions! Like: search and finds, or "jump and twirl here!" Very cool and had hours of endless fun....
