This is the closest Chipotle to my house and I used to come here a lot, but the last two visits have been very disappointing. Both were off-peak weeknights (I think both were on a Tuesday) during regular dinner rush time, but neither night was busy -- only one person ahead of me as I walked in one night. Basically, not at all busy for a Chipotle.
Both of the last two times I came in my burrito was rolled into a messy ball instead of a proper burrito. It seems to be a failure of training. Yes, I could watch like a hawk as my burrito is made to avoid mistakes -- "No, just a regular scoop of rice, don't try and get as much as you possibly can on the spoon. Please wait all of a half-second for the liquid to drain from the beans or pico so my burrito isn't a soupy mess" -- but frankly, I shouldn't have to. I know sometimes things won't turn out perfectly at this kind of restaurant, but they used to use a second tortilla if things started falling apart. Tonight, they just wrapped it in more foil. I don't really want a second tortilla, but I want a burrito I can eat with my hands. Yes, I can peel the foil as I eat it, but it's easier to just unwrap and not have a bunch of little bits of foil to deal with, and either way my tortilla is ripped and soggy.
The food still tasted good, after going through a dozen napkins just so my hands weren't soaking wet, but this really isn't the quality I've come to expect.
Side note - This is not the responsibility of the management, but the parking lot can be difficult so there always seem to be lazy jerks who think they can park at the curb in front and hold up traffic. People like that are the worst and make the whole experience much more difficult for...
Read moreRecently I was at chipotle and Jonathan was very nice and very friendly I found his attitude very genuine and caring I found him to be a very important asset to this chipotle team seriously he’s a very caring employee and you don’t find many like him he took my order correctly and I wasn’t sure sometimes if I wanted a specific topping he was patient with me and was very generous with the service he provided food like it came from his heart (very rare you have employees actually provide this type of service in the restaurant/fast food industry) you don’t find that many employees who are good with people ( have people skills) and his genuine attitude and personality is a very important part of this company and team more people like Jonathan the more people will be actually appreciative of the company’s and restaurants service, finally Jonathan is a key member don’t let him go usually my experience at this chipotle is either bad or decent or meh but his attitude and demeanor and genuine love for serving me and giving me service generously was above and beyond I seriously appreciate how nice this experience went. I look forward to having more experiences like this. (congrats you as a location have raised your bar in my opinion in customer experience and service!)

Read moreI walked into the store, I saw 3 staff members doing one thing or the other, no one acknowledged me standing. I was standing 3mins, I now asked the lady behind the counter if they were still open, she ignored me and continued doing what she was doing. When she was done, at this time I have standing for 5 minutes, another customer came in and she now decided she was ready to serve, she still left me standing waiting while she went and attended to the customers that walked in after me.
I didn’t complain, she went to the new customer and took his order, I was still standing. When she was done attending to the other customer she now asked what I wanted and as I was telling her what I wanted she was slamming the items on the bowl. I now asked for a manager, a lady came out and said she was the manager, I told what I just pass through in the hands of the staff member.
First thing she said to me was that I was standing in the wrong area, I now asked that if that was the case, why couldn’t she say to me that I should move a little bit towards the end of the counter to place my order.
I know collected my order and walked towards the area that had the forks, to my surprise I didn’t know what they had said to each other they all started laughing, I now went back and asked for her name that is the so called lady that called herself the manager. Reluctantly she said her name was Hannah.
I definitely will never go back to this particular Chipotle restaurant.
I have never been so insulted.
