What a horrible experience. A vender who was presenting to my team ordered lunch from Naf Naf at our request. It arrived and instead of 5 meals we received 4 and one of those 4 was a mash up of two of the orders. I tried calling them and 4 times was on hold and then heard a message that no one was available to take my call and was disconnected. Since the presentation was going forward, I decided to order two meals (one was a vegetarian and couldn't eat the bowl that was delivered and the other didn't want spicy hummus) for the staff members waiting for lunch and figure it out with Naf Naf later.
After ordering the two new meals I decided to make one last attempt to call and this time someone picked up. I explained that we were short one meal and one was not what anyone had ordered and that after trying unsuccessfully to reach them I had ordered two meals and asked if they could be refunded. The lady was defensive right away and asked me to explain again, which I did. She then told me that they do not deliver. I said that I had placed the order on their website for delivery and she told me they don't deliver. I asked if that meant the order wasn't coming. She then said that they work with a third party vendor and what most likely happened was that they driver arrived and left part of the order behind. I am not sure how that is the customers problem? If the restaurant wants to allow Door Dash then to deliver their food then they are responsible for making sure it gets out the door. She repeated three times that they do not deliver. If your food is coming to me in a car - you deliver, whether it's your service or not. I had not called to complain about Door Dash. The driver didn't make the incorrect order. And perhaps they left one behind but that is still on the restaurant themselves.
I told her she was being unhelpful and she asked how she was being unhelpful. I explained again that two of my team members were waiting to eat and was the order I placed coming or not. She said that if I hired someone to pick it up then it would be picked up. I asked about a refund for the missing meals and she said that she would offer me a credit for next time I came in. I said to forget it and I would just pay for the two meals even though we had already paid for them before with one never arriving and one being incorrect. She said "ma'am, I am trying to offer you a credit". I told her I didn't want a credit for next time because I didn't plan to eat there again. She gruffly said she would refund my order "just this one time" as if I had run some kind of scheme there before, and we said goodbye. I have not seen the credit on my card yet so hopefully it comes through soon.
I am not sure why she started at a place of me being a "bad customer" who was trying to get food for free when all I wanted were the meals that were originally ordered but here we are.
After all that, the team agreed that the food was bland and dry. We definitely won't be ordering from...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer of Naf Naf Grill for the past seven years, and my love for their food has only grown over time. Located in Chicago, Naf Naf Grill is a fantastic eatery that offers a delightful range of Middle Eastern cuisine, perfect for anyone looking for a healthy and delicious meal.
The falafel pita sandwich is my absolute favorite. The pita is always fresh and pillowy, stuffed with flavorful falafel and topped with an array of fresh, crunchy vegetables and creamy sauces. It’s a satisfying and wholesome meal that never disappoints. The rice bowl is another standout item on their menu. The combination of fluffy rice, perfectly cooked protein, and an assortment of toppings and sauces creates a delicious and customizable dining experience.
What sets Naf Naf Grill apart is not just the food, but also the consistently friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant maintains a clean and inviting atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to dine. Over the years, I have appreciated the quality and consistency of their offerings, which have remained top-notch despite the challenges faced by many restaurants.

Read moreThis location is decent only, food is great but everything else about the location is meh.. During the day shift you'll be fine. The managers here are always notably in a better more capable mood/capacity than the team members it seems. It's as if the managers always have to jump on the line to help people because the team members aren't capable of serving/handling customers well. I guess that's what you get in this new cell phone preoccupation permanency of the upcoming generation. However the lower score comes due to the fact that I've been at this location twice this week in the evening only to find that they have no rice, couscous, or hummus within a half hour of closing. If you're going to shut down the majority of the kitchen before you close, you should really set your closing time online and on the door to match. Two other customers walked out of your store at the same time as I after learning this. I wonder how many others? Now that COVID is clearing up. Maybe it's time to stay open a little longer? Huge waste of my time twice now this week after I was confiendent I wanted some of your delicious food within your...
