This has always been know to my family and I as the Legacy park. As my kids grew up, this was a 'destination' since we live out in the country. There's a nice shelter house that you can reserve for things like graduations and birthday parties and a great playground with lots of things to climb on - the best of which is a cable dome. As my kids are older, we found ourselves using the huge open field for softball and baseball practice. The field doesn't drain particularly well, so if it's been raining lately, you might find it very wet. There are no walking trails except a perimeter sidewalk and few trees, but the playground is large with varied activities for children of 5-12. There is little except for a swing that's designed for toddlers and the only swing designed for children with disabilities has been broken for some time. There is usually some sort of leaves, sticks or other debri thrown around the park. Today there is something all over one of the slides.
