Strawberry Lake Park — Attraction in Norway

We fished and walked around the park for several hours.

Lots of small bluegills and pumpkinseed were caught from the fishing docks along with some small large mouth bass.

One main fishing dock was underwater- This seems like poor planning, but may just be due to an abnormally high water year.

The local teens use this place heavily as a hangout. All seemed respectful while we were there, but the park was a mess with litter. They could use some more garbage cans around the place, though I'm not sure that they disrespectful kids that are currently littering would...

A hidden gem in Norway! We are campers and enjoy taking our dogs different places to walk. We absolutely love walking the dogs around Strawberry Lake! We generally end up coming back daily because it is such a nice setting! They continue making improvements to the paved walking path, lighting, observation areas, and landscape. After walking the dogs we usually do some shopping in town, gas up the truck, hit the laundromat, catch a meal, or cruise through the antique and thrift shops. Huge fan of this park! I walk the route around the lake regularly. My kid loves the playground!. Strawberry Lake Park has a ball field, a skating rink in the winter, and a community garden in the summer!

Now, minus half a star for inconsistencies with the facilities. And minus half a star because wasps seems to set up under the playground seating about halfway through the summer.
