The repairman himself was awesome, but all other service related with this company was awful. I called on a Monday because my refrigerator broke on Sunday, and the receptionist said "ok when would you like us to come out?" and I said "well as soon as possible, today would be great if you have something because I happen to have the day off"- she replied "pssh we can't get out there today! We are scheduled out until Friday!". Well ok then tell me that! Don't get short with me for wanting my fridge fixed as fast as possible.
Guy comes out and looks at it- again, the actual repairman was awesome. He changed a circuit board because he thought that was the problem. Two hours later the fridge was still at 65 degrees. I called back and got the same receptionist- "Well it takes 24 hours to get the fridge back down to the right temperature" To which I said "yes I know, but it hasn't cooled down at all, and the fan isn't blowing cool air, would it be possible to get the repairman back out here?" She sighed very loudly, said she would text him but couldn't guarantee he could get back out here that day. He ended up coming back out, checking things out more in depth, and determined we needed a new coolant line. He said he would be back on Monday to install it.
Monday comes- no repairman. I call the company- "oh yeah the part didn't come- the repairman told me to call, but "it's just been one of those days", you know?" Well I took off work early to get home for the repairman to be there, so that was very annoying. They rescheduled for that Thursday.
Thursday comes- no repairman. I call the company- "oh he called in sick and we tried to call you but I must have written the number down wrong" (When she read it back to me the first day, it was right). We rescheduled for the next week. This time the repairman finally showed (again, that guy was awesome, nice, and professional) and the fridge was up and running within an hour.
Overall, if I could just deal with the repairman I would use this company again, but the receptionist for this place really needs to work on her customer service skills. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of competition in this area for appliance repair, so I may have to use this company again in the future.

I am not from around the area, so I called Peterson's to inquire about a new fridge . I have never been to their store so I wasn't sure how it worked, do they keep fridges in stock? do you need to order them? wasn't sure. I called and asked if they had anything in stock that I could take home today. the lady put my on hold and came back and said they did, so we chatted about to fridge and it wasn't going to fit in the space we needed it for. I asked if there was anything else in stock, she replied very rudely, "ha ummm no that's something you need to prepare for and order ahead of time." I said, " I cant predict when my fridge is going to die." She said, "Well we weren't prepared for manufactures to only be working at 40% capacity." Read moreI would highly recommend buying anything you can from Peterson Electric! They stand behind anything they sell and have Great customer service. We bought a new dryer from Peterson Electric and had problems right away with it. Service technician came and looked at it and found the tumbler bearing was laying inside the dryer so when the factory put it together the bearing was not installed. Service technician put it in. We were still having issues with the dryer making grinding sounds so the owner is getting us a new dryer at no cost and taking the broken one back. Now that is GREAT customer service!
