Norwich Marina — Attraction in Norwich

American Marina at Chelsea Harbor is undergoing positive changes with the new ownership. The grounds are well-landscaped, clean, uncluttered, and a pleasure to stroll around. The restaurant still needs new management to open, but that is in the works. During the summer an ice cream/latin-american restaurant is a welcome addition to the Harbor area They need a gas dock, but there are many amenities for live-a-boards. Showers, swimming pool in season, barbecue areas. Once the run-down derelict hotel is either demolished or redeveloped the Marina park will really come into its own. Wonderful place to for a winter wet slip. The manager, Don, is a pleasure to deal with....

It's beautiful here 😍 There's a boat launch, seating to admire the scenery, sunsets and watch the wildlife(geese, ducks, seagus and other waterfowl). There's always food trucks lined up and a little Spanish restaurant with outdoor seating. They bring culture and flavor to the marina. I love...

There is a wonderful view of the harbor. The signage is excellent, and there is also an entire history board dedicated to Chelsea Harbour and the significant battles that have taken place there. The harbor is a very strategic point. Norwich has a great history part of it story is posted...
