Craftsman Cliff Roasters is roasting quality coffee beans in the best way! The owner is so committed to roasting the best beans and is excited to talk about the process and his roasting machines. This is no longer a coffee shop with brewed drinks, I made that mistake based on older reviews when they were serving drinks, but I'm so glad we wandered in. The guys clued us in to Cream and La Stella's (love them both!) where their beans are used to make fantastic coffee. We had a great conversation with the guys that work there because my mom sews handbags out of coffee bean burlap bags. I love, love, love the art on the packaging for their coffee beans! Google Maps lists no hours and said "This business may be closed", and asked me to confirm whether it was open or closed. So I checked it out. Apparently they are still roasting coffee but are mainly wholesale. They have no business hours and you can't walk in off the street to buy coffee but you can still purchase from their website. There are also businesses in the area, including a coffee shop nearby, where you can buy their coffee. Not sure whether the coffee shop has their beans for sale or just brewed coffee and espresso.

Norwich has needed a real, quality coffee place like this for a long time! I was impressed with how well done everything in the place was. All the details down to the smallest things seemed very thought out and artfully executed. The mocha I had was amazing because they roast both the coffee beans AND the cacao in house! I mean, who does that?! Amazing!

I also bought some espresso beans to grind and brew at home. They were perfectly done, not over-roasted like some major brands who shall not be named ;) They know their coffee at this place.
