Good sermons, Biblical, good singing, beautiful facilities. Not so welcoming, friendly,or informative to new comers as to where to find restrooms, where to go if in need of counsel or prayer, or basic welcoming. I had obvious distress and tears no one reached out.. long way from home in extremely challenging circumstances, where fellowship was desperately needed. Are we not to be the hands and feet of Jesus, Are we not commanded to comfort one another, encourage one another? Share in carrying one anothers burdens... I fellowship at cclongview, but felt like an outcast here. It made me all the more thankful for my home church in Washington which thankfully supported me in prayer as I endured severe situations with my son which is what brought me so far from home. My 4th visit,my husband had come to support me from home, we met Ed, who engaged with us and took time to pray with us. Thank you Ed. When the un churches but compassionate people around us are .more wiling to reach out and provide help and support than those at church where one should be able to find help, compassion, support, it is a very sad commentary on why we are there and where our focus is. Is it any wonder that so many walk away or refuse to darken the door...

This was my wife’s very first time in a church, and instead of being welcomed, she was separated and excluded. A true church belongs to God, not to any pastor’s preferences. Children are blessings from Him, not distractions.
If Pastor Bill cannot handle seeing or hearing babies in God’s house, then he is not a godly leader—he is a man more concerned with himself than with God’s people. This experience made it very clear this was not the church for us. Matthew 19.14- Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to...

We were told we had to sit outside or in the mother’s room(where do the fathers sit then) or send our young one to the nursery. This broke my wife’s and my heart as we felt we weren’t welcomed to what seemed like a great church. Parents with young ones
