I like to give a place more than one chance if they're "just ok" and today I wish I didn't. Once again, my food was just ok. The lady who rang me up was not friendly. She even got less friendlier when she informed me I couldn't use my Visa card because I was under 10 dollars. I understand, so I bought a 99 cent Arizona ice tea for 2.50.. I think she could've been nicer about it though. I'll come back to a place if their food is"ok" if the people were really fantastic. This was our first time visiting this café. The food was delicious. I had their fried chicken wings, mac salad, and rice plate and my hubby had their garlic shrimp and steak plate which also came with Mac and rice. The portions are big and the price just right. While eating we watched our best friends practicing their golf swing on the range. It was pleasant and truly relaxing. This was hands down the best bento I ever had at a golf tournament. Ken is a master on the kitchen, ginger fish, pork belly, furikaki chicken and a hot dog for good measure all on a bed of rice and a bonus piece of takuan. All were tantalizingly tasty and completely unexpected as far as these functions usually go. Kudos to the tournament chairs for making such a wise decision.
