Aloha, My boating license has been permanently revoked. I followed all of the rules, and my passengers did as well. They are saying someone else, or a 3rd party was seen on my boat with alcohol when I wasn't present on the vessel and because of that my license has been taking away. I was not in possession of alcohol; I did not carry onboard and none of my passengers consumed any alcohol while on my boat and they are taking away my boating license for no reason. Even though I followed all of the rules and by their own rules and regulations I neither consumed, possessed, or permitted any alcohol while on, using, or operating their vessels. They are assuming I was with some other party other on the water. I have not seen any evidence of this at all. They are basically saying if you throw a used can of alcohol on someone's boat then they lose their license or walk onto a boat with an empty container that you lose your license. But if I did this to other people it would only be a violation if they say they seen you doing it.
Why don't they let or tell all boaters to stay far and farther away from all other boats because if one person touches or gets onto your boat with alcohol that you did not authorize then they are going to take your license away forever. They do not inform you in any way or shape that other people not even on your boat can cause you to lose your license. It's a complete set up. They can have someone just walk around and take away any person's license that they want to. They should inform us that we cannot leave the boats and that we have to stay on the boat the entire time and guard and protect it for any and all people out on the waters with alcohol or we are going to lose our license.
At least if they informed us of that prior to. Instead of surprise we caught someone on your boat not in your party with alcohol so no more license forever. In a celebratory manner like they like, enjoy, or take pleasure in revoking licenses from members who are following and not breaking any of the rules and do not even drink alcohol.
It's like why they even check our bags if any random person not even with your party can cause you to lose your license without even your knowledge of it. Like you literally may have to physically fight someone or a random stranger away from your boat and you will still lose your license regardless. It doesn't make sense. It is not in the rules, and it is not fair.
Can they at least add a sign to the boats that says no alcohol on board for all to see so you don't have to police the entire sandbar. If they simply put a sign or signs or writing on the boats that say do not board with alcohol or the captain will lose his license. That way people do not have to stand guard or post on the boat the entire time to prevent any and all generation population from boarding with alcohol. It would be nice to actually be able to get off of the boat and not have to worry about losing your license due to some random stranger stumbling onto your boat accidentally.
I would like some feedback or response to know if they will add said signs to the boats to hopefully save some other boat captains their licenses. or at least give some protection or not make them liable for the whole...
