The inconsistency of the rules to access the base borders on crazy. Different answers every day and depending on who you talk to or who is the Commander that year. Vehicle passes, no vehicle passes, guest passes, only CAC access, no passes. google maps doesn’t show it as prohibited access for civilians. There is one sign with written underneath in small print ‘military access only’ half a mile before. how about you put a decent sign just before getting to the gate ‘ONLY MILITARY ACCESS’. this would have saved us 20 minutes of our life we never get back giving fingers prints and being questioned. nice enough...
