Bass Lake is always a go to for some family camping fun. The park ranger, Carmen, in our camping site (Wishon) was super nice and helpful. There are restrooms near the camping site with running water for basic night time routine. Showers are also available down below by the store/restaurant.

Neat tourist spot where there's a summer camp, a lot of boaters, and fishing. Came there to do the latter, fishing, and unfortunately from shore, there aren't too many good locations. If you're targeting anything, its best to bring a boat and head out to the deeper waters.

Super nice area (lots of bears though) to spend a few days on the water. We had a great trip and hope to visit again when we have time for a short trip again. Be sure to try the Avacado Toast at millers landing :)

Super nice area (lots of bears though) to spend a few days on the water. We had a great trip and hope to visit again when we have time for a short trip again. Be sure to try the Avacado Toast at millers landing :)

Beautiful lake rimmed by homes. The nicest drive through Road 222 is along the lakes edge. Picturesque views of modest homes that line the lakes entire perimeter, well almost the entire perimeter. The road is a bit windy and not great for speeding since you have pedestrians crossing the road from either side as the homes line both sides of Road 222. Please keep it safe and drive with caution as you take in the fresh air and pretty vistas. I did not see a store along the highway. So gas up before...

We started our NEW New Years tradition here. Fishing. Hubby and I took the kids fishing for New Years. Stayed at a lodge in Oakhurst near by. It was beautiful and quite and perfect for our trip. Our oldest set his line in the water and 30 minutes later....BAM Got him self a fish!! I can see myself coming back...
