Obviously it's beautiful. It's Yosemite, of course it is. Here's the thing though: it's really busy. Even in the middle of the day on Monday there's a line of cars waiting to get in and the trail is extremely crowded. I suppose I was silly for not expecting that part, but all the pictures you see are of the beautiful scenery, not of the crowds. In any case, expect to have trouble parking. If you go in the spring and there's a lot of snow melt, the volume of water will likely run over parts of the trail and may even partially flood the parking area. I didn’t wear a jacket but it felt really good to feel the mist on my face haha and my hair was wet a bit but not horrible.
