Melba Bishop Park — Attraction in Oceanside

RATING IS DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF ANGER AND DISAPPOINTING FACT THAT ALL ALONG THE BACK OF PARK AGAINST THE FENCE OF THE ROW OF HOUSES THERE WHERE THERE ARE TREES AND BUSHES, all those neighboring houses have created an entry from their backyard into the park and there you will find makeshift steps and with beer bottles metal shanks and of course a marking fir their "territory" with gang graffiti and that same tagging is also sadly marked on various buildings throughout the park and in some close proximity areas such as Bonsall and fallbrook! Im pissed that we are allowing this to continue in our community at a place that families and veterans use as an outdoor recreational for family. My son has played Little League baseball at Melba for over 4 years. He also uses the skateboard park, which is actually kind of impressive, considering this is a community park/rec center. He spends so much time here, we actually moved next door! The park is always well-maintained and the restrooms are always clean. Dogs (on leashes) are welcome and the snack bar is open during baseball season. There are a variety of recreational areas, picnic tables, basketball courts, Pickle Ball courts, and, of course, the Community Center, itself, which offers all types of classes and low-cost options for...

I have been to Melba Bishop Recreation Center a few times this year ! A nice clean park ! With a family friendly atmosphere ! They have two small kiddie parks in one . With slides for young kids to play while awaiting for your favorite Youth softball games to start or enjoy yourself watching your kids / friend or family member playing softball / baseball on one of the parks ball fields grounds ! They also offer you a select choice of snacks at resonable prices ! A friendly atmosphere ! I have enjoyed my visits to this park while watching my grandkids enjoy their softball games...
