Highlighting a beautiful spot we stopped at on the way home last year! •Ocqueoc Falls in Presque Isle County, MI (USA) •Plenty of parking, paved paths, picnic and restroom areas, hiking paths, loads of fossils and generally a beautiful place to relax! Only 1hr (driving) from the Mackinaw Bridge! #waterfall #river #creek #woods #forest #parks #parkstovisit #trails #hiking #travel #michigan #uppermichigan #michigantravel #fossils #michiganfossils #foryou #fyp

We get here early in the morning for easy parking on the weekends. After you jump into the river there are miles of trails to walk. About a mile in there are several locations of wild blueberries. Last year they were all over the place and we ate handful after handful on our walk. This year they have not fully ripened yet so we could not eat as much. We did the full loop which was around 6-7 miles.

This is a nice place to stop if you're in the area. Not a big waterfall but some nice rapids and spots for wading. The water looked pretty brown for actual swimming, but it could be done. Trails through the woods are nice, nothing too unique. The main area close to the falls is very accessible and provides the best views. Did see a few snakes but nothing venomous.

Nice little falls. If it was someplace other than the lower peninsula, it would be called a cascade. It is a nice place to get into the water and relax. The day we were there, the water was cool and refreshing. There is a nice parking lot with the restrooms large enough with hooks so you can change...
