Love it ♥️ need to take the kids. " Grandpa's last Journey" Sarah was so upset 😞. She began staring out her bedroom window watching the leaves fall 🍁 off the trees and blow away one by one into the neighbors yard. She began to mutter to herself out loud Grandpa John is losing it and can't remember us. Tim overheard Sarah in her room and knocked on her door 🚪. Sarah can I come in. Yes replied Sarah. Tim replied I agree with you Grandpa is stupid or something 🤔. I can't believe he wouldn't take us to see the dinosaurs 🦖🦕 and enjoy company with him. They didn't know grandpa actually heard there conversation through the thin walls of the old house 🏡. That night grandpa John got on his knees 🙏. Dear heavenly Father I'm dieing and wish I had one last once of strength in my body.To take my grandkids on a special journey. Grandpa was just balling in tears 😭. When out of the heavens and into Grandpa's room appeared a man with marked hands and feet. The man replied I am Jesus Christ. Please follow me and Heavenly Father led Grandpa up to the heavens and sat him by the gate keeper 🗝️ 🔓 on a ☁️ ed bench. Jesus replied I will return back. Jesus then appeared in Sarah's room and Tim's room and woke them up. Sarah and Tim the time has come please come and follow my footsteps and Jesus led them to Grandpa sitting on the clouded ☁️ bench. The gate keeper 🗝️ 🔓 got off the bench and fiddled through his keys oh ok here is the key to open the gate for your family journey come with me. They began traveling through the clouds and finally came to a gate. The gate keeper opened the gate and yelled out Peter your master wants you to show them the journey of the dinosaurs. Suddenly Peter arrived and replied do you have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ like me. Yes they replied. Ok follow me. There were 😇s all around welcoming there guests and dancing 🩰 in the clouds as they walked through clouds of hallways. Then the clouds began to fade and all around them was dinosaurs 🦖 🦕 chasing each other and eating leaves in the trees. Peter replied would you all like to ride on a dinosaur 🦕. Yes they all replied oh what fun ☺️ it would be together as one ❤️. They began riding and laughing and having a great time with each other as though they were young once more. They all expressed their love to each other and 🫂 hugged Grandpa. Grandpa 💗 was so happy 😄 and enjoyed every moment in peace 🕊️ and never felt the pain he was suffering from. Peter than replied it's time to go now Sarah and Tim please follow me back through the clouds they went and out the gate. The gate keeper 🗝️ 🔒 the gate behind and Heavenly Father had them follow his footsteps back into their beds once more. Sarah and Tim slept 😴 the rest of the night. 🥱 That morning both woke up and yelled out Grandpa John we had the most amazing dream ever. They ran to his bed to wake him up but no response. Both began to 😢. Then they began to 🙏. Dear heavenly Father why? Heavenly father came down once more and said . It was his last dieing wish to spend his last 🫁 with you. He then sat beside Sarah and Tim and hugged. Just remember I died for each and everyone of you so you can be together someday 🤍 once more Eternal life 💗 🕯️ Families can be together once more someday I promise you in the name of Jesus Christ Amen ✨ 🙌 🤍 🕯️. Thanks heavenly Father for spending time with me ✍️ and...

I read about this place on Roadside America and being a lifelong dinosaur fan, decided to check it out. I'm so glad I did! This is a fantastic little museum and outdoor park and is a must see for fans of roadside attractions and especially dinosaurs.

Note that it's easy to miss the entrance, as it's pretty quick after you turn off the main road (it's directly across the street from a little white shop). If you bypass the main drive, turning around isn't too easy so stay alert.

The admission fee is reasonable ($7 for adults) and I think it's well worth it. Note that you can add on a few kid friendly activities, including digging for "gems" in a "mine" and panning for gold. I was super tempted by the counter where you can buy a real geode and they'll slice it open for you on the spot (for an additional cost). Even without purchasing these extras, there is a ton to see. I never felt as if I was being nickel and dimed here.

The museum portion of the park is fantastic. It's not fancy and the display cases are simple and mis-matched, but the artifacts are top notch. There are fantastic displays of sparkling quartz, rocks and gems, and some truly cool trilobite fossils and more. Inexplicably, there are a couple of cases filled with junk like old quilts and muskets that'll make you scratch your head and say "huh?" Ditto for the bizarro giant clock crafted out of grenades and bullets!

The museum has a great collection of dinosaur bones and skeletons on display, and they are beautifully curated with surprisingly thorough educational information and interactive touch screens. There's even a windowed area where you can watch volunteers working and cleaning new fossil finds. If you or your kids love dinos, do not miss the robotic dinosaurs on the upper level. It's a very small area but is pretty rad and features animatronics that are just as good as the ones at Disney World.

After exploring the museum, make your way outside for the huge park! This part is so much fun as there are long, winding paths that meander all over the property. It's kind of easy to get lost, so take a map. Best of all? Along the paths are giant concrete dinosaurs! The paths aren't very shady so bring sunscreen and a good hat. The park has several nice picnic areas too, and a little pond where you can feed the fish and ducks (bring quarters for the food machines). There's a small snack bar and a gift shop with great dino themed gifts for cheap. Parking is easy in a paved lot out front.

The one huge negative of this place is that is it not air conditioned, which means it can get really hot inside the museum on warm summer days. I visited on a 100 degree day and it was sweltering and very unpleasant. They do have fans strategically placed but it's h-o-t.

I totally loved this place and spent two hours here! Then again, I have been dinosaur obsessed since I was four years old. Highly...

Educational, inexpensive, Pandemic safe!

My twin 4-year-olds had excess energy to burn while We were visiting out of town for a family funeral. Someone suggested this place and I'm so glad they did. It had both inside and outside features with lots of room for kids to run.

The inside starts off featuring a really nice animatronic T-Rex making threatening gestures at a animatronic triceratops and it's two babies. My kids stared at it for at least 15 minutes. Then it went immediately onto the gym room which had a lot of different minerals and geodes and stuff that were pretty awesome. Right afterwards you went downstairs to see several really impressive dinosaur fossils.

There was an expert on hand to give very specific and fun details about all of the exhibits from a safe distance. They had a huge T-Rex as well as several other really good ones. The sand dig thing was understandably closed. Then you followed the tracks outside to a long trails with brightly colored dinosaurs and hidden speakers giving off some nice entertaining dinosaur noises. It was snowing which made me walk a little faster but the kids had a great time burning off their energy. Bring some quarters because there are some ducks/fish food and some large fish and friendly ducks who looked quite hopeful and yet somehow disappointed when I didn't have any money or food.

My children lost one of their masks right before they were about to go in and had to use one of mine. I looked at the gift shop and they had masks of all sizes and really REALLY affordable toys. This is probably the most affordable gift shop connected to a museum I have ever seen. I should have gotten photos but I was a little tired.

Would happily come back another time. Maybe a warmer time. My biggest complaint is that there is no easy way to access the gift shop on the way out. Your best bet is to buy things when you first go through the main entrance. We had to do a huge loop around....
