Holy moly.... the end point of this trail is more than you can hope for! Especially for such an easy "hike". It's honestly just a walk through the forest to get to a beautiful blue alpine lake nestled in the mountains. It is a family friendly hike, not sure about ADA access only because there is still snow on the trail that you had to walk/climb up on to continue through a few times. The snow also made the trail wet and muddy in some areas. Oh there are two downed trees in the path so you have to be able to either get over or under them. Nice waterfalls surprise you along the way and if you look closely, you'll see 4 waterfalls at the end 😌. The road to the parking lot for this trail had a tree blocking it so we parked on the side of the highway. If the tree is removed, I believe you have to pay a fee if you park in that parking lot.
