It's a quaint little beach that doesn't get busy. Easily accessible and great for a stroll.

Keep in mind that it's part of the Raritan Bay Slag superfund site, so you will see signs warning you of the presence of lead. Margaret's creek - the marshlands adjacent to this beach - has been recently (as of 2022) cleaned up. But the nearby seawall has not - I wouldn't let kids play in the sand and definitely wouldn't eat the fish! Hopefully, the seawall will be...
