In this review, I actually am referring to the entire Tulip Festival in Orange City, Iowa. The museum was fine especially considering the town has a relatively small population. The floral displays of tulips provided a lovely accent to the museum. The Festival itself was spectacular. So many things to see and do. From riding a horse drawn trolley to observing street dancers of all ages perform in clogs (Dutch shoes, ) to watching a marvelous parade with several marching bands and beautiful floats, it proves to be a paradise of fun for all. Buying a discount book to gain entrance to some of the events is a wise investment. The only criticism I and my female travelers had was that the brochure failed to mention that during the parade many of the other events close down. Why? As the saying goes, "It takes an entire village to raise a child, " so does it take an entire town to put on a Tulip Festival in Orange City, Iowa. With a population of 6,000, it surely had to take the entire town to host this grand festival. So the workers who were staffing the other activities had to quickly shift gears to march in the parade.
