was searching for a Grand Junction Winery for Wine Tasting....Happy the first Winery was busy with the "Wine Train" bus full of tourists. The host recommended "Peachfork Orchards and Vineyards Winery". Parking was a small challenge, but worth the effort...Was welcomed by Heather with Wine Tasting Options, of a Wine Flight Tasting with five samples of their wine...Heather was spot on with ice water and samples of locally produced Apple and Peach Cider. Phil the Winemaker joined us and answered any specific questions related to his wine the orchards and vineyards. Mary was our initial contact upon our arrival, and directed us where to park, and informed us of a Oktoberfest (with a German band) fundraiser scheduled that afternoon. We were on the patio with a harvest atmosphere for our wine sampling. All of the Peachfork Winery owners and employees (Susan, Phil, Mary and Heather) were extremely welcoming, personable at this beautiful Winery. Purchased two bottles of wine, two boxes of Apple Cider (Delicious). Over thirty wineries in Grand Junction, so happy we were directed to the Peachfork Orchard & Vineyards. ...

Walked in to an area without enough seating, having to stand (60 and 84 year olds) and listen to twangy Cajun music for almost an hour. Appetizers were okay. Never tasted peach in any of the food. Dried out pork for dinner. A peach "cobbler" which was like pineapple upside down cake was dessert. Mine had zero peaches and was so dry it needed either whipped cream or ice cream but there wasn't any. The wines were okay. None worth buying. Left needing to eat something. Cute venue eating under the trees. Felt way overcharged. $75 would be reaching, The actual $150 per person was a gross miss representation of what anyones...
