This is definitely my favorite disc golf course to date. There is so much variety between each hole, and the location is beautiful. It is beside a large body of water, heavily wooded, has a plethora of picnic tables, and even BBQ pits. The holes themselves were intuitively placed, and easy to find the next one for the most part. The difficulty varies from one shot to the next. The only "downside" was the crazy incline on a few of the holes like the Stairway to Heaven. It was pretty intense to pull my daughter up to the top in our stroller, haha. But, it was doable! And it's probably not an issue for most people unless they have a disc cart. It was one of the only places for kids from Dexter to go and have fun and hang out during the summer. It is within walking distance. They used to have a big firework display and everyone was allowed to set off fireworks in the parking area. Now nothing, nothing at all! American freedom The land of the free!! Your free as long as you follow the thousand rules that go along with just about everything these days! When will it end? Dexter State Recreation Site, on the edge of Dexter Reservoir, provides convenient access to the reservoir with docks and a two lane launch ramp.
