Schaad Park — Attraction in Oregon

Little known and hard to find, Schaad Park is a find. Better for bigger kids, there is a wonderful rope-based play structure. Also a slide built into the hill. Be careful, it gets hot and is a very fast slide.

But the best part of the park is the hiking trail up the hill and around the property. It’s probably a couple of miles but fairly easy and affords some incredible views of the Chehalem Valley.

What a fun play structure and long slide to play with your kids on in a quite suburban neighborhood. Afterward, you all can head to the trail at the top of the hill for a relaxing walk. My photos start as we were going past the golf course on our way to the park. And end with the sunset from the top of the park on another day when taking the dog for a walk. Great trail especially if you're wanting to loose some weight. It's all up hill to start with. Loops all the way up to Corral Creek Rd. Then around and back down. Proud to be part of this family....
