Was playing blackjack tonight on their $15 min single deck table. Multiple players who joined our table were inexperienced and didn’t know what they were doing. I looked at my table mates cards a couple times to advise them on what the optimal decisions were based on their cards and how to hit stay or fold because it was a pitch game. The female dealer there called the floor on me because she didn’t like it that i was merely advising the newbie on what optimal strategy said to given their hand when I looked at their cards and how to hit or stay because it was a pitch game. The only hands I looked at what the other players cards were were hands in which I had no decision (tucked my cards under my chips because I was staying on 18 or 19) because they were a newer player who didn’t know the proper way to hit or stay (pitch single deck table) based on what their cards were. The dealer called the floor on me who ejected me from the casino with a 24 hour trespass warning. I was giving myself ZERO edge based on the decision they made because I had automatic stay hands in those instances so I just tucked my cards under my bet. I explained to the floor person that I was doing ZERO to give myself any sort of an edge by looking at their cards and explaining their options to them based on their hand, and even told the overweight POS floor person who kicked me out to look at the security cam footage to verify. They didn’t care because I called the female blackjack dealer the B word because of her actions and wanted me that I was “trespassed” for 24 hours. I still ended up down for my session, but I’m warning you about this place. The dealers are trash as are the floor. They seem to don’t want anyone playing pit games who knows what they are doing and will advise their table mates on what optimal strategy says to do with their hand. The employees there are straight up trash who only want house players and degenerate gamblers who don’t know what they are doing and how to put the odds in their favor. Stay away from...
Read more2nd visit and more photos. Everything from our first visit was matched. Differences listed below. Butter for the crab taste like butter they use on movie theater popcorn. Asparagus cooked beautifully. Different variety of 🍨 desserts last night. Prime rib was good. Horseradish was on the hot side. Mash potatoes very tasty. Ribs "less burnt" this time. Customer service excellent making you feel like a king. first visit review Review spirit mountain casino Seafood fest buffet $65/person The set up:
From the main door, follow all the way to the right until you think you went to far. It's in an event room on the left. Start with the soup(clam chowder)/saled table. Some basic salad selections, real bacon crumbles, and of course hugh chilled shrimp.
Next station has fresh clams, oysters, large crab legs, fried cod, fried oysters, large fried shrimp, prime rib, ham, turkey, bbq pork ribs, chicken strips, mashed potatoes, mac/cheese and asparagus. 3rd station had 8 to 10 different desserts, plus ice cream.
Food review:
Oh my gosh. My wife loved the fresh (fresh) crab definitelynot frozen. Juicy and full of flavor, best she has had in many years of trying new places. Can get a bowl of melted butter to dip the meat in. This now is her favorite place
Wife also ordered coffee and that was exceptional.
As i am not an extreem seafood fan, i enjoyed the fried shrimp, dipping them into my clam chowder. The fried cod was ok. The bbq pork ribs were pretty good.
Ideally, the prime rib and seafood is the main reason to be here. There is enough options non seafood if a partner is joining a seafood fan to this place.
Service, cleanliness:
We felt like special guest. The service was far above par along with their friendliness. No request was to great or to small for them. The room was very clean ... more so than national chain restaurants.
Conclusion :
This will be our go to place for my wife seafood fix. Note- buffet option shuts down for the month of December. Verify on...
Read more2 weeks ago I went on a trip to Lincoln City to see my great nephew I stopped there to get gas and a beverage I did not actually go in the casino but the gas station attendant was okay the store attendant at the gas station they were really nice people the gas station attendant kind of acted like he wished I wasn't there but the inside store where I made some purchases they were very friendly and very helpful I have been to that casino in the past with a good friend of mine I am not sure if it was Chinook Winds or the other one Spirit Mountain where the dealer got really mad because he was trying to teach me how to play Let It Ride because I don't know how to play it I'm not a gambler and she was like really what's the word giving him a hard time and telling him he could not show me how to play the game we had one money at Chinook Winds my friend gave me $100 chip at Spirit Mountain and that's where I believe the dealer would not let him show me how to play the game and was giving him a real hard time we lost our hundred dollars bought a bottle of expensive water and left we are on our way back to Portland it was not a good way to end our trip to the coast the dealer was really rude the water like $5 a bottle or something. I cannot say I recommend the casino itself on property gas station and store are worth a stop if you need gas and a quick bite. It is very difficult to get in and out of there there's only one way in and one way out and it's very confusing you drive around in circles and you can't get out I think that's obviously on purpose. I can only recommend the gas station has inexpensive gas and the store at the gas station has friendly workers and good prices. I do not recommend the...
