I'll start off by saying that Im not normally one to complain. I don't like making a scene because I know how uncomfortable it can make everyone feel. Both my husband and I had high hopes for this place, especially with the price point, the plates were not cheap.
I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken ($24) and my husband ordered the prime rib with mashed potatoes ($35) The meals did come with complimentary bread sticks (although you have to purchase dip which is a bit odd), and we added on $4 salads. Both the bread sticks and salads were really good and much larger than expected and they were probably the highlight(s) of the entire meal.
The first problem with the food was that the mashed potatoes tasted like stale old fries, and unfortunately my husband's main dish (prime rib) was cold and flavorless. My fettuccine Alfredo literally tasted like noodles with butter, and on top of that, the chicken was incrediblly dry. I think I would've been fine with the dry chicken if there was enough sauce that actually tasted like Alfredo.
We both were hesitant to complain because we don't normally like to, but neither dish was good enough for us to eat more than a quarter of. After letting the server know the blandness of our meals, she let the chef know and the lead. At first they weren't going to take anything off our bill, which would be understandable if we had actually eaten all of the food, but we didn't.
We told them that we weren't comfortable paying the entire bill for food since we didn't even eat the entire meals. They came back with $20 off, which honestly still doesn't feel like enough taken off. I don't think I would've written a review at all if we had gotten comped a bit more than we did.
Overall the service was fantastic and the appetizers were great, but the entrees really lacked for the price point, and taking care of an unhappy customer was near...
Read moreWarning: Do NOT wait until you’re hangry :-)! We were on the waitlist for about an hr and a half. It was fine tho because they keep your name in place and you can still wander off and have fun ( restaurant is in Spirit Mt Casino). They will text you when you’re next in line. I very much enjoyed the shrimp/scallop scampi. Would definitely have it again. It was so flavorful you can taste the wine, butter, garlic, and lemon in every bite. The chicken Alfredo was also delicious it was very creamy. The lobster tails were so buttery (in a good way). The sides were also good and flavorful. The breadsticks were not my favorite. It was more like a baguette. It still felt warm and fresh but a little hard for my taste. The crème brûlée was AMAZINGLY delicious! It was so creamy and sweet. Wish I had room for seconds lol. I believe he was the Manager (Jeff) checked up on us to make sure everything was fine and he also offered some free ice cream to our twins . That was sweet of him and the girls felt very special. The hostess and our waitress were also very polite and professional. The restaurant is clean. Long wait time to get a table but totally worth waiting for. Will...
Read moreI came here for dinner with my mom and brother for my moms birthday and was very dissatisfied with the food. I ordered the calamari frita for appetizer and it was very bland and the breading was flavorless and seemed to be under cooked and the chunky marinara sauce they give you which they call a two cheese marina fondue was nothing more than some poorly made marinara with very little Parmesan on top. I ordered the prime rib medium rare for my entree with a side vegetables and fettuccine spaghetti the called it. My prime rib was well done instead of medium rare, I only got like 1 bite worth of the broccoli vegetables that were supposed to come with my meal and the fettuccine tasted bland and almost like it was just a sauce made from milk and sweetened butter with absolutely no cheese of any kind. I told my waitress I wasn’t happy with the fettuccine and could not eat it and she not only did not care but didn’t offer another side or to fix it or anything.. very sad experience.. there is nothing Italian about this place at all and should not be able to call there...
