Lower Trout Lake Beach — Attraction in Orion Charter Township

The beach/park is not in bad condition.. little run down but doable. However make sure if you're visiting the beach you either bring your own food or be prepared to pay ridiculous prices..1 hotdog with a bun= 4 plus dollars..20 or so individual chips and a little thing of nacho cheese = $6... 4 lbs of hotdogs at Kroger is roughly $20..that is little bit over 50 cents a hotdog..plus a bun can possibly cost you a little over a dollar...how in the world can you charge 4 plus dollars for one hotdog with a bun..I understand inflation and staffing employees however for one freaking hotdog with a bun is over 4 dollars..I understand paying those prices at Ford Field, however this isn't...

Don't think it is the best place for swimming, not the cleanest water.. seemed to have seaweed in it. Has an okay sized beach, and a large flat grassy area.
