Originally I spoke to Danny about my delivery, he was kind, polite and personable. I was told I was going to get another call, I took my phone off silent, I put my phone ringer volume up and I waited and unfortunately I did not receive this call. I did get a random text saying my delivery was on the way, so I went to my apartment and waited. My husband clicked the link in the text message and it said the “Delivery failed”. I called the store and Michelle answered, I began to explain that I didn’t receive the call and she felt compelled to accuse me of lying about not receiving the call and said that in her notes it states that she called and the time. She was argumentative and escalated our conversation constantly implying that I was a liar. By saying that “Once you answer the call tomorrow, it will be delivered”, anyone who cares about their customers who spent hundreds of dollars at their establishment would ever treat someone this way. For whatever reason I didn’t get this call, I looked out for it for hours. It’s terrible when you get accused of being a liar when sometimes inconvenient or unusual things like this happen. She acted like she was doing me a favor by not charging me another delivery fee after she insulted, argued, and treated me like a floor mat. Fast forward to today, Monica called to see if the delivery for the couches had been completed in the worst way I’ve ever received a follow up call. She might has well been talking to someone who disgusts her and is a bother. After this I decided I wanted the rest of my order cancelled. I don’t want to do business with a company that treats their customers like their presence is a disturbance, and they have more better things to do than to deal with the likes of me. I called and Monica answered, and I proceeded to tell her how she treated me and in typical fashion she became argumentative, placed the blame on me and acted as if she did nothing wrong. No apologies, nothing. So safe to say, if it wasn’t for Donna the customer service rep who helped me get my refund. I would never feel inclined to come here again. Terrible service from these woman. Since when is it ok to treat your customers like this? I thought this experience would be pleasant, easy and exciting. This is me and my husbands first time buying furniture for our first apartment. I didn’t imagine this horrid behavior from the staff. It killed it for me. Also, my husband assembled the couches today and ITS WOBBLY? followed the directions to the letter. Paid STUPID amounts of money for this, what...
Read moreMy husband and I purchased (in full) a sofa set and dining table in October 2023 (with Roberto) but could not have it delivered until our house was finished being built. Last week I called to coordinate the delivery and told by Daniel that my sofa set was sold out and told to "Come and choose something else." I was not able to get any details and found his dismissive manner to be improper. We went into the store that afternoon to be told that yes our sofa set (which was paid for in full) was sold to someone else. The style we bought was sold out and discontinued so we would have to wait for the manager to advise on how to proceed. While there we did look to see if we liked anything else but had no luck. Roberto called us the next day to say that there was nothing the manager would do and we would have we would have to come back and choose something else. Refusing to give them our business, we requested he processed our refund for everything immediately. While we appreciate Roberto attempting to help us, the manager and Daniel could use some additional customer service training especially in empathy, problem solving and communication. It blows my mind how our paid in full furniture was sold to someone else and there is nothing that could have been done to attempt fix the issue. Roberto assured us that if we paid for our furniture in full, it would be ours which is...
Read moreI had a mixed experience at this furniture store. The sales rep was helpful and offered a discount when he realized the bedroom set we wanted was missing some pieces, which was fair considering we had to drive to the Winter Park location to complete the purchase. However, when we went to pick up the furniture at the original location, not all of the pieces were available. The dresser mirror was still missing, and the staff member wasn't very helpful, only telling us it was out of stock and that we'd need to return later since our sales rep had already left for the day. After requesting to speak with the manager, we were given the option to pick up at another location (Sand Lake area) or get a refund. Since my mom had already fallen in love with the set, we chose to pick it up. That meant I spent my afternoon picking up furniture from three different locations.
Additionally, I was disappointed by the review process. It's important to let customers write their own reviews instead of misleading them into thinking they're signing up for deals when you're actually accessing their Google accounts to leave reviews. I don't support this practice, and had I not been paying attention, I wouldn't have realized what was happening. Be more transparent with your customers!
Please note: I intentionally omitted the sales rep name. The feedback is for the...
