Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Jerome aka Kake King! This by far has been one of the BEST investments I have made for my business. What I love the most is his passion to help others without trying to hijack you for all of your coins. Thirty minutes may not seem like a lot of time, but because he’s been in business for as long as he has been, and he truly has a passion to help. It was enough time for him to share some much needed and appreciated pearls of business wisdom. Wisdom, I might add, that could be used in any industry not just the cake/baking industry. That consultant re-ignited my love for baking, and his encouragement absolutely made my day. I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I appreciate this young man. I took a break from making cakes because it became a chore and was no longer fun and exciting. During the covid shutdown I ran on the Kake King via Instagram. I was IMMEDIATELY inspired and vowed to take a class. Wellllllll yesterday I flew from Long Island and had my 1:1 session. Let’s start with.. 1. Communication was excellent. He contacted me via email and cell to ensure I arrived safely in Orlando. 2. Not only was he on time for my session… he was EARLY and had everything set up so upon my arrival we could start. 3. Amazing studio space. Very clean and spacious. It was very easy to find the location and upon walking in it was very inviting. I’m looking forward to taking classes here with the Kake King himself. I just completed the Pk Project Orlando and the studio was the perfect fit for the class. Way to go on this beautiful black owned establishment! It’s because of Kake King I am doing cakes (Online Class Student soon to be hands on student) he not only gave me the knowledge, but the confidence that I needed to start my cake journey.
