Yesterday, July 25th, we arrived at the playground at 8 PM. A birthday party was ending there (one of the shelters was occupied by a group of adults with children). There was no one else at the playground. And we were shocked! We have never seen anything like this at any playground in all of Johnson County! Children were running around the playground with food and throwing trash right at their feet or scattering it around! And none of the adults stopped them, and of course, no one cleaned up! It was incredibly filthy! The entire playground, every corner of it, was in trash and discarded food! This is absolutely unacceptable! Well-mannered and decent people who live here do not behave this way! How can people be so uncivilized, not respect the place where they and other people live?! It's disgraceful! P.S.: If you are reading this: I understand that in the country you or your ancestors came from, such behavior might be normal. But we are in the USA - look around, people don't behave like that here! Please do not ruin the place where we all live!

I have been hearing about this park for a while from other moms and their children. After finally visiting with my 4 children (ages 4-10 years old), we were blown away by the pleasure of spending time in this park. The original playground is still available close to a large picnic shelter and playground. On the other side of the parking lot is a brand new playground, "nature play" area, and splash park close to clean and modern multi-stall restrooms.

The newly built playground includes: extra-tall slide, multiple climbing nets, towers, and ropes, as well as swings, and merry go-round. While the playground itself doesn't incorporate shade, there are several large trees nearby, so that play remains pleasant throughout most of the day.

The "nature play" area, seemed slightly pretentious as it is literally fenced off from the woods which are right next to it. However, my children loved playing in the rocks and small water feature as well as climbing along the logs.

We didn't wear swimsuits for the spray park, but I was pleasantly surprised to note that my children who ventured in, were lightly misted with water to cool off rather than becoming dripping wet as can happen in other similar parks we have been to.

Overall, this large playground and spraypark are able to accommodate a large number of children without becoming crowded or unpleasant. My children were more than happy to spend several hours playing and immediately asked when they can...

Place is pretty awesome!!! Parks around the whole metro area cant compete. Seems like each one is missing something. We still havent even seen everything this place has. Water sprayers and shooters coming out of the ground and poles, nice park and picnic benches aplenty with shelters over most for big parties, trash cans, Playgrounds!!! Theres a mini playground for little ones right by the water shooters for ages 2 to 5, A giant climbing, rope, platform jungle gym with bubble viewers and multiple slides and rock climbing wall attached, swings on the other side of the parkig lot with a whole other palyground thats more a 90s 2000s style, theres tennis courts and other areas we havent even seen. Will update!

UPDATE- baseball diamond and soccer fields with goals, 2 person swing, vertical spinny thing, big 4 person spinner, little nature area with fake grass and...
