Round Lake Park — Attraction in Oviedo

This is an awesome little park despite the fact that it is going under construction on the basketball court and other parts of it. The playground for the larger kids is pretty sweet and gives multiple points of entry. It is also covered partially by shade from a cloth above which is essential in a good summer park. Seriously, county, city, and neighborhood planners we live in Florida and we need shade!

There is a also a smaller young child area a short walk away past the tennis courts and the the basketball courts. There is bathrooms and an area for outdoor raquetball. I come here all the time! Always kids and young families out and about during the daytime, but its never overwhelmingly crowded, just the sweet spot. Don't be afraid of the location- it is well lit at night and a nice environment all around... I cringe typing this, but it is ajoining a hood. Sketch type cars drive through this place a lot but like I said, I come here often both during day and night and never once felt my safety threatened. (For reference I am a teen female, so this topic is rather important to me). I don't come here alone past sundown but I come alone all the time during the day. 5 Stars – Perfect Playground for Toddlers!

We’ve tried a lot of playgrounds in the area, and this one in Oviedo is hands-down our favorite! It’s brand new, super clean, and thoughtfully designed with younger kids in mind—especially our 2-year-old, who absolutely loves it.

The equipment is low to the ground, which gives us peace of mind as parents. We can actually sit back and breathe without hovering the entire time! There’s a super fun fast slide, and one of the cutest features is a little dog house with bells inside—such a fun sensory surprise that keeps the kids giggling and curious.

It’s the safest playground we’ve found in Oviedo, and honestly, the most fun too. Highly recommend for anyone...
