This is just one of many different entry fee stations for the Glen Canyon National Park. This particular station is unmanned and uses kiosk machines for those who do not have one of the many types of National Park passes. This automated fee station serves the Lees Ferry area and is the only way in and out of the area. Besides the stunning views of the towering sandstone mountains, there are numerous hiking trails, camping grounds, boat launching ramps, and plenty of opportunities for swimming, boating, camping, kayaking and exploring one can do on this side of the mighty Colorado River, and all downstream for Glen Canyon Dam.
