Wahweap Recreation Area — Attraction in Page

Gate people are pretty bad. Sandy seems to be the only one who understands basic human courtesy and manors.

Also, they don't understands the difference between digital ID and a photo of one.

Their policy specifically says you can present a driver's license and I did. But was denied entry because they didn't understands the difference between a picture of an ID and my DMV issued digital ID from Colorado.

Way to be behind the DMV on technology and customer service. A feat I never thought would be possible.

Can we just fire that whole...

The gate person was just like what the other reviewer said - evil! She berated us and spoke so rudely even though WE HAD A PASS ALREADY! If you ask a simple question, her favorite thing to say is, "STOP WHINING"! Her ego is completely uncalled for. She wants to put down cash paying visitors, but why? I was a passenger in 2 different vehicles on 2 different visits and her behavior was the same each time. Take this Entrance and just stop by off the Road 1 mile from the South entrance, where usually there is cars parked you can hike down and enjoy a less packed spot by the lake. We got lucky we didn't have to pay any entrance fees During memorial day weekend. To Avoid the Toll booth, Wahweap Blvd North Entrance might offer a Free Entry (on national holidays)you just have to go all the way around thru the Campground,RV, and Resort park to Lake Shore Dr. UPDATED 10/22/2024: It’s a 30$ entrance...
