I've been to the Manatee County Fair only a couple times in my life. This event was pretty close to how my first experience was and that is pretty decent overall. There's plenty of rides and there's a lot of games to play in a lot of things to see but that being said there's also a lot of people. It can get a little hectic trying to get around the crowds but obviously that's because there's a lot of people on this planet and a lot of people also visiting the fair at the same time. Read moreToday was the 1st Annual Tacofest and it was great . Lots of different vendor's to select from. There was Tex Mex , Greek, Southern , Asian , and American types of food to try . Also , a wide variety of drinks and Ice Cream , Smoothies , Hot & Cold Coffee and Cheesecake to satisfy your sweetooth. Yes, the gates were open but there was absolutely no activities going on, no buildings open...you couldn't even get anything to eat. I would like to know how anyone could consider this being "open"?
