I really enjoy Stanford Dish Trail. It is a short one-hour trail with great views of the Stanford campus and Stanford Dish. There are some parking spaces on Stanford Avenue, but because this is a very popular location, I advise that you go during off-peak hours, such as late morning or early afternoon, to have a better chance of finding a parking spot. Once you have parked, you can enter the trail door and start the trail either to the left or to the right. The left side is steeper in a short distance. This is a fantastic place, a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley, to be connected with nature....

I'd give it five stars except that they make it in almost feel like prison - you have to pass a security guard who looks you up and down. Then as we were walking a sheriff vehicle 🚔 drove right down the middle of the path 👎. everybody had separate to one side or the other. people are here to exercise 🚶- everybody here is a goody-goody even wearing masks 😷. I didn't see a sign of any troublemakers 🚫 - no rebels. We R obedient people - sometimes too much so. & yet they monitor us like we're in the middle of the inner city somewhere. It's ridiculous. Stop stop wasting money on a security guard and...

This trail is a walker’s delight in every shape and form. Pristine paved road, spotless clean, gentle hike, not crowded, peaceful, and amazing views, of sweeping vista, the Stanford campus, the ocean beyond, golden sage brush, sculpted trees and more. Even the radio antennas do not seem intrusive. We were lucky to find a spot to park on Stanford (road) that crosses the Juniper Sierra highway, at the entrance of the park. A place to keep coming back...

A beautiful paved loop trail with bay views to the East and mountains and forest to the West. At a sedate pace you won't break a real sweat, but a more brisk walking speed will give you a workout on the steeper inclines. Sunset views are excellent but the trail quickly gets pitch black if you've delayed too long while taking in the skyline.
