This is the parking on Stanford Ave. to do the Stanford dish trail. A nice 1h 30min. hike which is really steep on some points - nothing for knee problems. It's a nice view over the campus and you can see lots of animals (deers, birds, butterglies, turkeys..) the beauty of nature!

Absolutely formidable trail. Great community surroundings this particular area. Plenty of security. great views for days. Wonderful hospitality. Can't recommend anything better than this.

Clean and well maintained. No benches for the distance I hiked, something to note if there is someone who need to rest and hike.

Stanford dish is perfect hiking trails. Fully paved with beautiful views and moderate level with enough climbing and slopes. The parking is most likely an issue and if you don't find one. Ear the trail, you can park further down the street in the school parking lot. If you enjoy this trail, click on Like below and show appreciation for hiking...

This parking is usually full so you can park at the elementary school down the street as well if it's a weekend, holiday, or during the summer - about 4.6 miles total for the longer walk to the gate and around the loop.

Other dish info: open to the public gate was open and booth was unmanned when we went free entry no...

This "parking lot" is basically just street parking and there are only a handful of slots. All are back-in slots so get ready to reverse into one. The Dish trail is popular so you should expect to double back a few times to find a spot. Note that the neighboring side streets do not allow Dish parking as they are...
