I absolutely love coming here and I come here at least three times a week but today I had a young man following me around taking pictures while I was by myself walking through the woods. After the second picture he took of me. I asked him may I help you while you’re following a woman by yourself through the woods taking pictures You know what he told me. The forest preserve is not open to the public. Those were his exact words I said you do realize the forest preserve and it is specifically for the public and then he called the cops on me telling the officer that I was taking things out of the forest breaking trees down And then when he showed the Officer the pictures and video I was clearly let go because I was doing nothing wrong he was being extremely creepy and he works for the park district and I will post a video of him so everyone can see what...
Read moreWith bike season winding down, we've turned to hiking during the Fall and Winter months and this trail does not disappoint. The dirt path winds in a serpentine pattern with some vertical slants and inclines, leading through creeks and crossings that appear secluded, but are not truly in the sticks as Willow Springs Road and 95th Street are always nearby. Definitely more challenging than your typical paved trail, but worthwhile for a different perspective.
