Please please please wear a mask if you’re planning on doing this hike!!!! It’s really narrow and impossible to socially distance. I went with my elderly mother and felt very anxious walking by multiple groups of unmasked hikers. People who are at higher risk of COVID also want to be able to enjoy the outdoors...unmasked people make it very hard and scary to do so.
The trail is a dirt cliffside trail that can be very uneven and slippery in places. Read moreEven the drive to get to this trail is nice! The views are breathtaking, there’s so much shade for the majority of the trail. At the moment, there isn’t a hidden swing, just a couple of dangling ropes. I feel inspired to get some folks together to remedy this situation as I can imagine how even more spectacular these views would be while swinging at this spot.

On a nice clear day, you may see surfers riding the waves, sea birds and hawks flying around, unobstructed “queen’s necklace view” of the LA beach cities, and even the downtown Los Angeles.
