Please please please wear a mask if you’re planning on doing this hike!!!! It’s really narrow and impossible to socially distance. I went with my elderly mother and felt very anxious walking by multiple groups of unmasked hikers. People who are at higher risk of COVID also want to be able to enjoy the outdoors...unmasked people make it very hard and scary to do so.

The trail is a dirt cliffside trail that can be very uneven and slippery in places. If you’re afraid of heights, will probably feel a little dicey. 60% of the trail is shaded with lovely foliage...lots of really gorgeous lookouts onto Bluff Cove. The beginning of the trail is the steepest section, remainder has little altitude change. Lots of lemonade berry bushes and toyon berry trees line the trail. I really...

Even the drive to get to this trail is nice! The views are breathtaking, there’s so much shade for the majority of the trail. At the moment, there isn’t a hidden swing, just a couple of dangling ropes. I feel inspired to get some folks together to remedy this situation as I can imagine how even more spectacular these views would be while swinging at this spot.

The hike is about a mile down, so out and back is two. Nice incline on the way back up makes it a good little workout too. There are a few narrow parts that can be a bit slippery, no...

5-star for this cool trail for the fantastic ocean view, fun narrow path, and a little cute surprise along the way.

On a nice clear day, you may see surfers riding the waves, sea birds and hawks flying around, unobstructed “queen’s necklace view” of the LA beach cities, and even the downtown Los Angeles.

Don’t come after a rain as the conditions might...

I feel inspired to get some folks together to remedy this situation as I can imagine how even more spectacular these views would be while swinging at this spot.
