On our 4th wedding anniversary Mr. Jeff and Mrs. Karen treated us like family. From the beginning... You drive across this bridge with a gorgeous creek and then you see the view of painted vineyard and you just know you made the right decision for this bed and breakfast. The vineyard is so beautiful. Every tree. Every plant is taken care of with so much love including the ones that don't produce for the vineyard. The painted vineyard tasting room is directly in the front. You drive past that and arrive to the most warm welcoming bnb I've experienced. It has a modern log cabin feel on what feels like a vineyard in France. Real wood throughout the house. A patio to take in the wonders of this place that looks across the vineyard and into the mountain. This place is for lovers and nature lovers alike. You have to forget your phone and just be in the moment here. And then there's the wine... the Tempranillo. My husband and I taste it, put down our glass (which you can keep after paying for the tasting), and said "I like it" at the same time. Lol all of the flavors the say are in the wine is exactly what you taste. Our sun roof got hit by a rock on our way here (and burst) and Mr. Jeff let us park in the garage. Such kindness... and then breakfast... my first breakfast charcuterie board and it was amazing plus chocolate crossiants regular crossiants blue berry muffins. Fresh apple juice and orange juice. Which we took to their gondola and ate... while relaxing in the cool air that smells so sweet from the lavender the grow on the vineyard. I highly recommend the lavender if you don't stay at the bnb. They give you some of it with the breakfast and it made our room smell so sweet and fresh. What a beautiful blessed place... we are planning our next trip now. Lol we were only suppose to stay one night but we booked another night. This was my favorite place in Colorado so far and I've been all over. For my husband and I being from Houston we rated every where we went are 4 years this was the trip we've been waiting on. Number 1. It's France wine country in colorado. It's being in touch with nature. It's romantic. It getting your back in touch your inner child walking down by the river and seeing the trout jumping and hummingbirds flying. There's so much goodness and love here. This is the place to come. And Miss.Tony in the taste room is such a beautiful soul... she'll get you the exact wine you want. I remember the names because they are such good people that they leave a big impression. I feel very lucky to have a husband who would bring me here.... I also don't...
Read moreMy partner and I stopped by for a wine tasting, and we had such a great experience! Jeff, the owner, was very friendly and made us feel right at home in his winery. The wines were delicious, especially the red wines and the Chardonnay.
The main tasting room was beautiful, and the patio offered gorgeous views of the vineyard.
They also have an Airbnb on the property, which makes it even more tempting to come back for a longer stay. We definitely plan to return, and next time, we’ll bring a group of friends in the summer. Highly...
