Papio Bay Aquatic Center — Attraction in Papillion

I am highly impressed with the staff and guards at Papio Bay!! Excellent service and response!! I was at Papio Bay yesterday with my family, we have attended here since I was 3. I was witness to 5 incident reports while waiting in lines or in the pool; from potential drownings(3), to slip-trip-falls and injury(2). The survey of the scene to response time was immaculate, when a guard needed to enter the water another guard was at the station in seconds for assistance and replacement! Not one but 3-5 guards were in response to whatever the incident each time.

It is a selfless and difficult job to be a lifeguard. Bravo to all the guards that work here. We will definitely be going back feeling safe to attend with our families own little ones.

And for the love of God, NO RUNNING ON THE POOL DECKS!

Clean, well maintained pool and recreation area! Well staffed with life guards, and has an accessible first aid tent. There is one extra-large zero entry pool with two medium slides and two diving boards for older kids. There is plenty of lounge chairs and gray area.

There is a nice, separate play area for young children, splash pad, slide in shallow water, and sand play area.

There are lockers that require a quarter to use in the locker rooms.

This appears to be nicely managed! The only reason I give it four stars is that the facilities are older, and have limited extra features for older kids/ adults.

The snack bar has a limited selection, but prices are reasonable.

The evening swim times are a nice option for a dollar off every...

My son and I love Papuo Bay! It's definitely our favorite pool to go to during the summertime. The staff is great, and the facility is well kept for the most part, including the restrooms/shower area. My only complaint is that the toilets in the women's restroom always seemed to be overflowing with toilet paper or needing flushed, but that's not necessarily something the staff can help, I get that. The consession stand had a good variety of snacks, including Valentino's pizza and pb and jelly uncrustables, so that was nice if you were there during lunch! The slides and diving boards make it a great pool for kids of all ages and adults alike. Plus .y son and I got in for only $11, and that's affordable! We'll be back next...
