A few years ago they installed new stuff, like a new playground, trashcans, benches lights, and pavilions. It is a great park, like most of the ones around this area. It has all kinds of businesses nearby, like an arcade with go carts, lazer tag and other stuff. It also has two swimming pools and a bowling area, among other things. There are lots of pavilions, baseball fields, paved trails, soccer fields, a bike path, a fishing pond, trees, benches and picnic tables. The only problem is that only one pavilion has a bathroom and water fountain. Otherwise you have to go into a business or something. The park also has a dairy queen, a school with a large field behind it and a running track with a football field in the middle, along with a practice football field next to it. They are all open to the public, and sometimes you can go in the school to use the restroom or water fountains, depending on the date and time or if school is in session, you cannot use the schools bathroom or...

The play equipment is separated by age. On one side of the park there is a young child playground and then on the opposite end there is a playground for older kids. The big kid area is way nicer than the little kid spot but the little kid area is more conveniently located. They have bathrooms, grills and a large pavilion by that playground. I believe there are also restrooms. There is only a small covered picnic table area by the big kid side of the park and no restrooms. Both playgrounds have wood chips underneath the equipment but the big kid area also has one slide off the the side with sand underneath it.

All through the park there are paved walking trails that wind around the property along with some large grassy areas. There is also a small man made pond with an island and a bridge that you can go fishing from. There is parking available in a variety of places. Overall I like it and would recommend it to anyone in the...

I love this park! It’s a very safe area for families, children, and pets. Though it’s small, it’s definitely fun to stroll around. What makes this park unique is the workout equipment around the track. I remember when I was younger and I would come here to play guitar with friends, ride bikes, play games like cops and robbers, play at the volleyball pit, and so much more. We would also skip rocks and the pond. My point is, there is so much to do. I also remember when Pokémon Go came out, and this park was deemed to be a rather safe area for children to be. If you’re looking for a safe area to take the...

Love the park & the dedication from the city and volunteers. But for God's sake, YOU CANNOT LET YOUR KIDS CATCH TURTLES &/OR TAKE THEM HOME OR TOUCH EGGS THAT ARE IN A NEST REMOVING THEM AND HOLDING THEM UP....& THE POND IS NOT FOR YOUR KIDS TO WADE IN AND TRYING TO CATCH TURTLES WITH THE NETS YOU PROVIDED. FISHING ONLY. NO WONDER ANIMALS SUFFER BC OF LACK OF COMMON SENSE IN DECENT HUMAN BEINGS...DO BETTER!! PARENTS NEED TO DO BETTER! NEITHER OF THOSE THINGS SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED. AND NO I DON'T FEEL BAD FOR YELLING AT THOSE BRATS!

I need to come back in the spring or fall to enjoy the arboretum! There are at least 115 varieties of trees, all very nicely labeled. The pathways are in mild disrepair, grounds are somewhat older. The bathrooms are open; one single restroom for women, and one single one for men. There is a play area for young children near the restroom, and one for older children on the other side of the park (not far away). I saw a man fishing in the duck pond.
