All Seasons Adventures provided an excellent lunch at Weber Crossing, in anticipation of the mild white water rafting trip we had planned with our 81-year-old, very healthy mom, on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I highly recommend this rafting company, who puts participant safety at the top of their priority list. We had our life jackets on and we're excited to go on the 2-hour trip, when thunderstorms began to roll into the Henefer Utah area, converging right above our launch point at Weber crossing. The guides asked us to sit tight as they got more information and opinions about the weather conditions that we might encounter during our 2-hour trip. After much consulting and observing the skies, the guides made the very difficult choice of canceling our afternoon trip, putting safety first for all participants. Even though we did not get to do our 2-hour mild white water rafting trip, my sister, my mother and I were impressed with the professionalism of this white water rafting company. Safety of all participants was prioritized over profits on an afternoon when two thunderstorms were converging in the Henefer area, over the Weber River, which could have made our white water rafting trip a dangerous undertaking. All Seasons Adventures has earned my respect as a business that cares about its customers. We will make another trip to the Park City area in the near future, specifically to book a rafting...
Read moreGreat mountain bike excursion. Vince was completely ready when we arrived with four well-maintained Scott 29 inch full suspension bikes. He did a great job of accommodating the various skill levels for our group.
Booking process and billing were all simple and accurate.
We took the beginner trails to accommodate some of our team. Started at Quinn’s Junction and rode about twelve miles on parts of Round Valley Loop and some other segments. These trails are simple enough for beginners but are not so flat that you can’t have a little fun. The climbs are modest but will catch up with riders who are not in decent shape. The starting altitude is about 7k feet so that can also make breathing a little more work than expected.
This is not the trail for you if you are trying to lose yourself in the back country. Our route took us on a series of interconnected trails that crisscrossed a small patch of land a few square miles in area. You are never far from the trailhead, so no worries if you have problems. There are a good number of other riders on the trail - even for a Wednesday.
The views from the higher segments are nice, but they don’t change dramatically during the ride. The drought at the time of our ride made things more dry, and dusty than I anticipated. Looked like a desert, but some pics I’ve seen from others appear to be greener and less dry, so maybe our situation...
Read moreThis past Saturday (7/24/2021) Lee took our family of four on a mountain bike outing in Round Valley - near historic downtown Park City. He picked us up at our condo in a nice van that could carry his bike and our rentals plus miscellanies. The cycling equipment was great, oh and Lee was flush with beverages and brownies :) Lee was very adept at handling our different levels of experience and fitness (our two teenage boys had each had a few technical lessons in the past whereas my S.O. and I had not… and well we’re not teenagers). After a while we decided to have him go farther ahead with the kids and we kept to our own pace but stayed in touch with Lee by text/phone - he was always nearby. Be warned: The green (easiest) trail starts out uphill and stays that way for a while. But the switchbacks were fine and the descent was at a low grade. Not much shade so try to come early and bring a lot of water. There were some other folks on the trail but it was easy enough to be aware of each other and pull over for them or us to pass if necessary. We greatly enjoyed our time (a bit over two hours) and highly recommend All Seasons Adventures and Lee for his...
