Round Valley's Quinn's Trailhead in Park City, Utah, offers a versatile outdoor experience suitable for various activities and skill levels. The expansive trail system, located just on the edge of town, allows for a wide array of uses, including mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, and off-leash dog walking.

The terrain consists of rolling scrub oak and small trees, providing open vistas of the surrounding neighborhoods and ski resorts. The trails are well-maintained, with options ranging from broad cindered pathways for families to intermediate-technical singletrack, catering to both beginners and seasoned enthusiasts.

Quinn's Trailhead serves as the main access point to this protected area and is equipped with ample parking, restrooms, and a fenced-in dog run with agility obstacles. The nearby Park City Ice Rink and Sports Complex add to the convenience, making it a popular starting and ending point for visitors.

A common loop from Quinn's uses the Fast Pitch and Hat Trick trails to circle around and return to the starting point. This loop is a little over 2 miles and takes you alongside the National Ability Center, where you can watch the horses grazing. The trail only has a small elevation gain.

While the open terrain offers little shade, making it advisable to bring sun protection during warmer months, the elevation provides cooler temperatures, enhancing the overall experience. The trails are groomed in winter, accommodating activities like cross-country skiing and fat biking.

In summary, Round Valley's Quinn's Trailhead is a well-maintained and accessible destination that offers a variety of recreational opportunities amidst scenic landscapes, making it a valuable asset to the Park...

Wonderful trail system at Round Valley for hiking, running, dog walking, biking, xc skiing, and snowshoeing. Beginner trails (green) and Intermediate (blue) serve different ability levels. Multiple intersecting loops, so you can create an activity for your preferred distance/time. Mountain Trails Foundation maintain the trails to an excellent standard and groom the trails in the winter, including putting in classic tracks. Beautiful views of the Park City mountains in the background. So thankful to have these...

Great set of mountain biking trails can be accessed from this trailhead and the accompanying access point a couple hundred yards up the paved road from the trailhead. Many options for all ages and abilities. The entire area is exposed so bring sunscreen and plenty of water in summer. Bring a map! A few technical sections of trail on the western side of the area have rock gardens of slag and angular granite. Watch out for sharp switchbacks and oncoming mountain...

A nice place to ski. Good grooming and the dogs are well behaved. Trail system is partly open to dogs, sometimes leashed, sometimes not. The majority is multiuse (bikes, dogs, hikers etc) but there is a spot exclusively for cross country skiing. Everyone I met was helpful and happy to be outside.

Great place to run, hike, walk your dog, or ride your bike! Most of the time there is plenty of room on the trails for everyone, just be cautious and give way for others trying to pass (ex. Mtn Bikes). Also, this is usually where a few trail races occur, be sure to check those out for fun, too!
