Wonderful trail system at Round Valley for hiking, running, dog walking, biking, xc skiing, and snowshoeing. Beginner trails (green) and Intermediate (blue) serve different ability levels. Multiple intersecting loops, so you can create an activity for your preferred distance/time. Mountain Trails Foundation maintain the trails to an excellent standard and groom the trails in the winter, including putting in classic tracks. Great set of mountain biking trails can be accessed from this trailhead and the accompanying access point a couple hundred yards up the paved road from the trailhead. Many options for all ages and abilities. The entire area is exposed so bring sunscreen and plenty of water in summer. Bring a map!
