To whom it may concern: I would like to tell you about a positive experience I had with one of your employees. I donât know her name but she was working register 2 at about 8:50 pm June 4. I recently went through a period of financial difficulty which thankfully will be resolved at the end of the week when I get my first paycheck from my new job. I started my day with $28.98 which I had to make last until Friday. I figured I need $20 for gas which left me with $8.98 to eat on for the week. I spent about an hour in your store trying to get the most bang for my buck to get me by. I got eggs and bread and your easy melt shells and cheese. Along with a couple of condiments to make egg salad for sandwiches. I thought I had added it up with room to spare but my math was off. When I checked out it came out to more than I had. Not much only 17 cents but I was short none the less. I can only imagine the look on my face as I tried to quickly decide which item I could do without. The young lady at register 2 asked how short I was. When I told her she said she would cover it. Some people who read this might say it is only 17 cent. Yes it is a very small amount. Yes I would have survived. She did not have to help but by helping she made my next week of cheap eating that much better. Hopefully you can figure out who the young lady is and pass this on to her. Let her know that her 17 cents meant the...
Read moreA couple days ago I was hounded by a construction salesman that claims âthey are teaming up with HâEâBâ to legitimize their harassment of customers upon leaving the store. I was trying to be polite to these ppl. I told them I donât handle any of the home affairs and they still insisted on giving me more info. Not only that the salesman called another person on the phone who then asked me for my full name and phone number and address again. It was completely inappropriate and invasive of my personal time and business. I told them I would take the info and give it to the person that could help them and they wouldnât give the info, just demanded mine. After going back and forth they made me really mad and had me there arguing in front of everyone. Every time I tried to leave âitâs only gonna take two minutes maamâ I finally had to be rude to them and left without any information. That tells me they are fishing for customer info and not really trying to sell the product because why the refusal to provide me the contact info? Anyways, lesson learned I will be ignoring those ppl like everyone else does. Not feeling sorry for them anymore. And HâEâB would be wise to reconsider having these ppl harass their customers outside. After grocery shopping nobody wants to stand there arguing with salesmen. Itâs ridiculous and poor management and it ruined my day....
Read moreI know it's tough times and HEB has been very consistent with everything and provides good quality food. I am happy to spend money here. Sadly there is a but to this story, even under the circumstances of a pandemic and mandatory requirements for mask by the state, the county and the store there was no one trying to prevent the die-hard deniers from inside the store. There were four people in the store with no mask. Walking around with no care about other. There was no sanitizer for the carts which I found funny as the getto Kroger not to far away had someone monitoring the door preventing people with no mask from entering, provided cart wipes and sanitizer for every customer as well. I go to this store because it's close to my grandparents house who are home bound due to the current events and I fear that I may accidentally infect them everytime I go shopping for them here. What is the point of putting up signs and providing comments over the intercom that you want people to be safe when you are not in forcing your own policies. So, for now you have lost a customer in me because I feel like the safety of my elderly grandparents is more important then some dude and lady making a conscious decision to ignore decent behavior and contribute to the infection rate in an enclosed...
