Savannah Cafe & Bakery — Restaurant in Pasadena

My anniversary was Jan. 20th and my sister thoughtfully had an order of cookies, slice of cake and slice of pie delivered to my husband and me that evening.

Everything LOOKED good...

HOWEVER...

The pie we received (chocolate cream pie) was not what was ordered (coconut cream pie) and it barely had any chocolate taste. 1/5 The cake we received (coca cola cake) was not the cake that was ordered (italian cream cake) and it was dry and the only part that had "flavor" was the frosting but only because it was so tooth achingly sweet. 2/5 We did get the cookies that were ordered. Red velvet, cream cheese with pecans, chocolate chip and something that was like chocolate chip with white chocolate and macadamia nuts. The cream cheese ones were good except for being caked in granulated sugar. 4/5 Red velvet were dry with too many white chocolate chips. 2/5 Chocolate chip/chunk were actually pretty good after being warmed up in a container with a damp paper towel. 4/5 The ones with macadamia nuts were similar to the chocolate chip ones except, again, too many chocolate pieces and not enough actual cookie dough. 3/5

I've never had anything from here before and this as my first experience doesn't prompt any future purchases from this...

I was giving a wedding shower and I ordered 50 cookies and 25 cucumber sandwiches and 50 pedifors. I was quoted a price that stated that everything would be $128.88. when I went to go pick them up the order they charged me $328.88... when I looked at the bill they charged me $45 dollars for a tip and said I’m sorry I made a mistake and refunded it but then charged me for 4 dozen sandwiches when I only got 2 and it came to 285.88! I told the manager they gave me a different quote over the phone and the manager said “sorry it was a mistake” and THAT WAS IT. I was so upset with the pedifors they looked like Christmas bells and not wedding bows & bells (and I asked for both)! And the cucumber sandwich’s only had cream cheese and no cucumber! They should call it a “cream cheese sandwich” instead. I wish the customer service and the situation was handled better I was very disappointed with the ...

I am so disappointed in Savannah Café & Bakery. I went in Saturday afternoon (7/28/2019) and picked up an order of assorted cookies for my Mother's Birthday Party. I choose Pecan Sandies, Thumbprints, Chocolate Powder, Sugar, Cream Cheese, Iced Brownies & Lemon Bars. I served the cookies at my Mom's birthday party and was so embarrassed as they were all so dry and tasteless. Even the iced brownies were dry & the Lemon Bars had no lemon taste to them at all. We actually had to squeeze fresh lemon juice on them just to have any lemon taste at all. I have shopped at Savannah many times over the years and know their products are better than this. I usually do not write reviews, however, I wanted to write this in the hopes it was only a one-time...
