What a great pumpkin patch!
Let me start by saying i drove to a couple others in the area and they were pretty sad compared to this one.
Ok ok so parking here is a breeze, this patch is located in the parking lot of CVS right off Lake and still lots of parking available. Walking in there are tons of pumpkin all around to look at. Towards the back of the patch they have a petting zoo and the pony ride, and towards the other end they have bouncers (I didn't catch the price for those) if you are interested in riding or petting the animals you purchase your tickets towards the front where you pay (Check out photos for prices). The employees working were so cool and down to earth, they were very friendly as I saw them interact with the adults and children. Everything here is cash but in case you don't carry cash (ME) they have a couple of ATMs that you can use, There is a fee for the usage of it but at least it's available if you need it. They have a big selection of different size pumpkins from Small to LARGE ones and for your convenience they have these cool wagons to use which also kinda gives you the full pumpkin patch experience. The prices I found to be very reasonable so of course I walked out with a couple of them.
Hope you enjoy as much as I did!...
Read moreDriving up to this place, we had high hopes. And that was probably the problem. It was crowded, expensive, and definitely not worth it overall. If you're just coming to take a look at pumpkins, crowds, and money grabbing at every opportunity. Do come here. However, it's cramped and pretty much everything costs money. The bouncy house area has 4 jumpers, 1 big slide, a medium slide, and 2 smaller ones for younger kids. Unlimited pass is $15/person. This might be good if it wasn't so crowded, pretty poorly run, and if there was some regulation for people who got to go in as I saw lots without bands. They don't let adults ride with younger kids. They were nice enough to give us 2 petting zoo passes as a partial refund, which was extremely tiny and also crowded. These passes are $5 each. Then there's a pony ride (go to Griffith park instead) for $7!! with a long line and also poorly managed. Face painting with stuff you can get super cheap at target was between 3-5$. Next time, I think it'll be worth to go to one of these real farm places rather than the...
Read moreDONT GO! The animals in the petting zoo were all sickly. I mean they were not taking care of well at all. They were letting kids in and not explaining how to feed them. I heard a scream ran to help a little girl had her fingers almost bitten off I had to scream for help because non of the workers cared that she was screaming in pain. Finally got her fingers free by pushing my fingers in the mini donkeys mouth. Poor little girl. I was pissed for her. It didn't phase the workers at all. Prices were out rageious they wanted to charge $15 per person to go one the slide. So $30 my son is too little to go alone. That's ridiculous! We already paid $10 to pet the sickly animals. Got my son very small pumpkin for $2 not bad. But I wouldn't ever go there agin. Dirty and way over priced. All that money and they can't afford to keep the animals...
