Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Pasadena

Just drove out of Popeyes drive thru... we placed an order which was 12 pc family meal (with coleslaw and fries), 12 wings (lemon pepper and garlic parmesan) and butterfly shrimp... well, we were told that butterfly wings are not sold separately anymore, so it must be a combo - shrimps with a side or shrimps with a side and drink.... we chose just with side option... when we approached the window, they also informed us that they have only wings and breast's available, and the way the girl was talking to us was absolutely unacceptable... it is 21st century, damn it! How can you put a thousand conditions/restrictions on your food options? And this is the 2nd time we faced a similar situation and just drove away... well, they lost about $100 order, and moreover, they are getting this review... terrible service and stupid marketing.... it makes absolutely no sense to order a few sides, especially when your menu of sides is pretty limited by itself.... P.S. funny fact - whenever you ask them to put more thighs than breast's or wings, they say they cannot do that, and it has to be mixed chicken, but then they never have thighs...

Terrible Service and Worst Customer Experience!

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this Popeyes. I placed my order, and to my frustration, two ladies who ordered after me received their food while I was still waiting. When I approached an employee to ask why my order was taking so long, they admitted they made a mistake. Meanwhile, I noticed that they were fulfilling everyone else’s orders—including mobile orders and DoorDash—except mine. Despite my frustration, I waited even longer, but still, my order wasn’t ready. At that point, I requested a refund. To make matters worse, the person who claimed to be the manager displayed even worse customer service than the rest of the staff. Eventually, I did get my money back and left, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The service was terrible, and I will never shop here again. I highly recommend avoiding this place if you value your time and respect...

A quick fix that gets the job done when you don’t want to travel far or spend more money on fried chicken.

The go-to side for me is their mashed potatoes and Cajun gravy - always a winner; get the large, because everything else is too small.

I highly recommend using the Popeye’s app and look up Offers before you visit - you don’t need to purchase on the app or pre-order with it, but there are good deals in the Offers section that you redeem once you get there to the drive-thru etc.

Their sweet tea is solid, as well. Don’t forget to ASK for honey for your biscuits, or you likely won’t get any.

Employees are always prompt and courteous at this location. Drive-thru has two opposing lanes that feed into one - that’s fairly stupid planning, but it’s not the employees’ fault.

Again, there are better, much more expensive options in town and around LA - this is simply a solid go-to when you’re craving spicy chicken and savory sides...
